simple doi iilish can be tasted heavenly with a dash of the super aromatic gondhoraaj lime.If u r in a hurry but want to make a good lunch for family & friend,then go for it.U can use gondhoraaj lime leaves,while cooking,that would add more flavour to the dish.

Ingredients to make gondhoraaji doi illish

  • hilsa fish 4
  • turmeric 1/2 tspn
  • gondhoraaj lime 1/2
  • mustard oil 70 ml
  • hung curd 5 tblspn
  • green chhillies (raw & ripe both)15
  • white mustard seeds 2 tspn
  • Black mustard seeds 1 tspn
  • salt
  • sugar

How to make gondhoraaji doi illish

  1. POUR 70 ML APPRX MUSTARD OIL IN A MICRO SAVE BOWL
  2. PLACE THE FISH PIECES MARINATED WITH TURMERIC,SALT AND GONDHORAAJ LIME JUICE
  3. ADD 4 SLITED GREEN CHILLIES
  4. COOK FOR 3 MIN IN MICRO MODE AT THE BOWL WITH THE LID
  5. NOW REMOVE THD FISH & POUR 5TBLSPN THICK CURD INTO THE OIL
  6. THEN ADD 2 TSPN GREEN CHILLY(GREEN +RED) &MUSTARD PASTE(WHITE+BLACK) PASTE
  7. ADD SALT TO TASTE & FEW GRAINS OF SUGAR ALONG WITH GONDHORAAJ LIME JUICE
  8. MIX PROPERLY WITH A SPOON
  9. PLACE THE FISH PIECES AND COAT WITH THE GRAVY AND LASTLY SQUEEZE FEW DROPS OF GONDHORAAJ LIME JUICE
  10. THEN COOK AGAIN FOR 3 MIN IN MICRO MODE WITH THE LID

My Tip:

cook in full power in micro and use a bowl with lid
