ABOUT KACHI HALDI KI SABZI RECIPE

Rajasthani Kachi Haldi ki Sabzi is made in winters with fresh turmeric root as the main ingredient and it is very good for heart and diabetic patients.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 250 grm Fresh raw turmeric
  2. 3-4 Green chillies finely chopped
  3. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  4. 1 tsp Dried coriander powder
  5. 1/4 tsp Aniseed (optional)
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1/8 tsp asafoetida
  8. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  9. 1/4 mustard seeds
  10. 2 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Wash Haldi thoroughly & pat dry.
  2. Peel & finely chopped haldi and keep aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a wok. Add cumin and mustard seeds & allow to splutter.
  4. Add Asafoetida, Aniseed, and Green chillis and cook for 1-2 sec.
  5. Add finely chopped Haldi and cook till it became soft.
  6. Stir occasionally.
  7. Add Salt, Red chilli powder, and Coriander powder and mix it well. Cook for 4-5 min.
  8. The haldi ki sabji is ready garnish with green coriander. Serve with roti, parantha.
  9. Refrigerate & consume within 1 month.
