    Egg Puff

    Ingredients to make Egg Puff

    • (for 6 egg puffs)
    • Boiled eggs - 3
    • Puff pastry sheets - 6
    • onion - 5
    • ginger garlic paste - 1/4th tsp
    • coriander leaves - for garnishing
    • cumin powder - 1/4th tsp
    • coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
    • turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
    • chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
    • Garam masala powder - a pinch
    • salt according to taste

    How to make Egg Puff

    1. In a non stick pan, take some oil, fry onions till they are translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell disappears. Add in all the spices and fry well. Garnish with coriander leaves.

    3. Arrange puff pastry sheets on baking tray. Put a spoon full of onions mixture in centre of puff pastry sheet. Then put half egg and seal the ends of puff pastry like an envelope by bringing the 4 corners together in centre.
    4. Insert a toothpick for easy baking. Repeat with the rest. Bake in a pre - heated oven for 15 to 20 minutes at 180 ° C till golden brown or as per instructions given on puff pastry packet.

    My Tip:

    1. Please follow the cooking instructions given on the puff pastry packet for baking. 2. While making the onion stuffing use required oil, and the onion mixture be bit dry. If too much oil is used, while baking excess oil will ooze out making the puffs oily. 3. Spices can be used suitable to one's choice.
