  2. 1 cup curd
  3. 2 tsp roasted besan
  4. 2 capsicum
  5. 2 tomatoes
  6. 2 onions
  7. 2 potatoes parboiled
  8. 4 tsp achari masala
  9. 2 tsp kasuri methi
  10. 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  11. 1 tsp redchilli powder
  12. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  13. 1/2 tsp haldi
  14. 1 tsp lemon juice
  15. Salt to taste
  16. 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Take 15 barbecue sticks. Cut the paneer into square shapes of 1 and 1/2 inch in size and the capsicum, tomatoes, onion, into square or triangular shapes of 1 and 1/2 inch sizes.
  2. First boil the potatoes, but note to only half boil them. After cooling, cut them into big pieces. Also roast the besan till it's light brown in colour. Keep aside.
  3. To prepare the marination, take a big bowl, put in curd, besan and mix it neatly then add the ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder also add the achari masala. Mix it neatly then add the garam masala powder, kasuri methi powder, salt, lemon juice and sugar.
  4. Mix it neatly, add 3-4 tsp of water. If your curd mixture is very thick then add water, next add vegetables into the curd, mix it nicely than add the paneer pieces and mix well. Keep this veggie mixture in the fridge for 1/2 hour to marinate.
  5. After this marination period, now it's time to roast, first take the barbecue sticks, one by one add the capsicum, then onion, potato, tomato and paneer. Continue this sequence for all the barbecue sticks.
  6. Roast these sticks in the barbecue grill or barbecue pan. You can also use any pan to roast, put in some olive oil.
  7. Roast them till they are brown in colour. Now the achari paneer tikkas are ready to be served.
