Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Paneer 200 gram
  2. Boiled Green Peas 200 gram
  3. Thick curd 1 cup
  4. Pepper powder 1/4teaspoon
  5. Salt 1 /2teaspoons or to taste
  6. Oil +Butter 4 tablespoons
  7. Cumin/jeera 1teaspoon
  8. Onion 1 medium finely chopped
  9. Poppy seeds 2 tablespoons
  10. Hot water 4 tablespoon
  11. Green chillies 3 numbers
  12. Garlic cloves 4numbers
  13. Turmeric powder 1 /2 teaspoon
  14. Red chilli powder 1/2teaspoon
  15. Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  16. Garam Masala Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  17. For cornflour mixture-
  18. CORN FLOUR 1 TBSP
  19. 4 tbsp water
  20. For garnishing -
  21. Green chillies 2 numbers
  22. Coriander leaves few

Instructions

  1. Take a big bowl add in boiled peas and paneer cubes,1 cup thick curd,pepper powder,salt to taste
  2. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Soak poppy seeds in 1 /4cup hot water for 5 minutes
  4. In a mixer jar make a paste of soaked poppy seeds , garlic and green chillies
  5. Heat oil and butter in a pan now add in cumin/jeera ,bay leaf sautey for a while
  6. Add in fine chopped onion and fry until it becomes pink in colour.
  7. Now transfer boiled peas and Paneer mixture cook for 3 to 4 minutes on high flame
  8. Now add in turmeric powder, coriander powder, Red chilli powder fry until raw smell of spices goes.
  9. Add some water if masala starts sticking at the bottom.
  10. Now add in poppy seeds , green chilli and garlic paste.
  11. Cook for 4 -5minutes
  12. Add in mixture of 1 tablespoon corn flour and 4tablespoon of water. cook on medium flame for 2 -3minutes.
  13. Adjust the salt ,add 1/2teaspoon of Garam masala powder.
  14. Cook until oil starts showing at the sides of the pan
  15. Garnish with green chillies and coriander leaves serve hot as a side dish with Dal fry, chapati and plain rice or you can serve this for dinner party with Paratha ,Naan, kulcha.
