About Spicy Kadhi Pakoda Recipe

Made with sour curd & spices . This is delicious to taste.

Spicy Kadhi Pakoda

Ingredients to make Spicy Kadhi Pakoda

  • 1 kg - Sour curd
  • 5 tbsp - besan
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - Heeng
  • Few sprigs curry leaves
  • 5-6 no. - dry red chillies
  • 1 tbsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - haldi [turmeric powder]
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - jeera sabut [cumin seeds]
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp - methi seeds
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Refined oil

How to make Spicy Kadhi Pakoda

  1. Take a deep bowl, Whisk curd & water. Add besan to this mix. Whisk well . There should be no lumps formed. Leave aside.
  2. Now prepare the Pakodas in the mean time, with besan.
  3. Heat a kadhai with some oil. add Jeera sabut, red dry chillies, heeng ,methi. Now add the besan curd batter. Mix well.
  4. Add salt , red chili powder, coriander powder, & haldi. Mix gently & let this cook for 10-12 min. Check in between. Adjust salt & spices.
  5. Now add the pakodas & mix gently. Let it boil for another7 - 8 minutes. Switch of the gas. Serve piping hot with Steamed Rice.

My Tip:

Make the pakodas beforehand to save time.
