A very instant option to make in your kitchen when u are short of vegetables.

Dahi ki sabzi

Ingredients to make Dahi ki sabzi

  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 medium sized onion finely chopped.
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 4 to 5 curry leaves
  • 1 to 2 green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander seeds powder
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
  • 1 /2 tsp kasuri methi
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

How to make Dahi ki sabzi

  1. In a kadai ,heat oil.
  2. Once the oil is heated add the curry leaves , green chillies, mustard seeds , cumin seeds.
  3. Saute for a minute.
  4. Add the finely chopped onions
  5. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes till they turn golden brown.
  6. Add all the dry spices.
  7. Mix well and lastly add the curd.
  8. Add some water if required.
  9. Stir well and bring to one boil.
  10. Your instant option for sabzi is ready.

My Tip:

You can also add tomatoes and capsicum.
