Ingredients to make Instant Tadka idli

  • 1 bowl suji [semolina]
  • 1 bowl yoghurt
  • 1& 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp rai [mustard seeds]
  • 1 pinch heeng [asafoetida]
  • 2 tbsp urad daal
  • 2 tbsp chana daal
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • 1 & 1/2 glass of water
  • 2 tbsp mustard Oil

How to make Instant Tadka idli

  1. TAKE A BIG BOWL ADD 1 BOWL SUJI & 1 BOWL YOGHURT
  2. MIX IT WELL
  3. ADD 1 TBSP SALT & MIX IT
  4. LEAVE IT FOR HALF AN HOUR
  5. NOW TAKE PAN & ADD 2 TBSP MUSTARD OIL & HALF TSP SALT
  6. ADD 2 TBSP RAI, 1 PINCH HEENG
  7. ADD 2 TBSP URAD DAAL, 2 TBSP CHANA DAAL & 10-12 CURRY LEAVES
  8. SAUTE IT IN LOW FLAME
  9. NOW SWITCH OFF THE FLAME & LET IT COOL
  10. NOW TAKE IDLI STAND & GREASE IT WITH OIL
  11. TAKE IDLI PAN & ADD 1 1/2 GLASS OF WATER
  12. COVER IT ON HIGH FLAME FOR 5 MINUTES
  13. NOW IT'S READY TO MAKE IDLI
  14. AFTER HALF AN HOUR PUT SOME WATER IN BATTER
  15. MAKE A THIN PASTE LIKE THIS CONSISTENCY
  16. ADD ALL TADKA INTO THE BATTER.
  17. MIX IT WELL
  18. ADD 1 TSP BAKING SODA & MIX IT WELL
  19. NOW POUR THE BATTER INTO THE CAVITIES OF THE STAND QUICKLY.
  20. NOW ARRANGE THESE STANDS IN A PAN
  21. COVER IT & COOK FOR 12-14 MINUTES ON MEDIUM FLAME
  22. AFTER 12 MINUTES CHECK IT WITH KNIFE IF IT'S NOT READY
  23. COOK IT FOR 2 MINUTES MORE
  24. NOW IT'S READY TO SERVE
  25. SEPARATE IT WITH KNIFE
  26. SERVE IT WITH HOT SAMBHAR & ENJOY
