Mango and Raspberry Puff Pastry Tarts

ABOUT Mango and Raspberry Puff Pastry Tarts RECIPE

A real easy and quick dessert to prepare if you have puff pastry sheet kept at home already. This is an all time hit for any occasion or if guests arriving.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 cups mangoes - sliced into small cubes
  2. 1 mango mashed
  3. 5 tbsp Raspberry Jam
  4. 3 tbsp Milk
  5. 3 tbsp lemon juice
  6. 500 gms puff pastry sheet
  7. flour to dust the work table
  8. Icing sugar to dust puff pastry


  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C for 10 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl mix together 2 tbsp of milk with 5 tbsp of Raspberry Jam and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan on medium heat, cook the mashed mangoes. Add the above raspberry mixture to it and mix well. Add lemon juice to this and combine. Cook this for 5 minutes till all combined and a little thick. Turn off the flame and transfer into another bowl. Set aside.
  4. Dust your table with flour generously. Divide the puff pastry into 6 equal parts (first divide it into 2, and then divide each part into 3 more parts) and roll them into 1 cm thick long rectangles.
  5. Lift the corners of the pastry a little with your fingers so that when you pour the jam, it does not spill out.
  6. Place 1 large spoon of the prepared jam on each pastry sheet and spread all over. Top with mango cubes and brush the corners of the pastry with milk for a golden crust.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes at 170°C or until corners are golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes and then dust with icing sugar and serve warm.
  9. I surprised my mom on mothers day with these and she loved it. You can make these anytime you like. I hope you enjoyed! :)
