ABOUT Chicken Haryali RECIPE

Healthy and quick chicken dish ,healthy as the base is green chutney so mint ,corrianfer ,green chilli salt and garlic.Quick as we boil chicken nd cook in Curds ,fried Onions and Green chutney makes the gravy gets its oils .No extra oil except a spoonful is used.Spices minimum too,ie pepper,salt, dhania powder.All you need is half an hour or so.Go get it!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 8-10 pieces chicken fresh
  2. 100 grams curd beaten
  3. 1/2 cup green masaala chutney(corriander,green 2chillies,few mint leaves,,lehsun,salt,1tspn coconut powder)
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1tblspn corriander powder
  6. 1tspn garam masaala
  7. 1tspn pepper
  8. 2tblspn oil
  9. 2tblspn golden fried onions(birishta)
  10. 2 par boiled potatoes

Instructions

  1. Clean chicken wash ,marinade with salt ginger garlic paste for ten minutes
  2. Keep all ingredients ready
  3. Boil 2 -3potatoes
  4. Now take pot or cooker boil chicken in less water add 3-4 cloves
  5. Boil ten minutes remove in bowl,
  6. Add 1tblspn oil in a pot heat
  7. Add golden fried onions to this
  8. Add boiled potatoes halves to it
  9. 2 minutes fry potatoes ,slow gas so onions don't burn
  10. To this add 1/2 cup of green masala/chutney
  11. Mix well
  12. Add the 1 cup beaten curd now
  13. Mix all well
  14. Add the boiled chicken now and dry spices too ,mix well
  15. Simmer cook all for about 8-10 minutes
  16. Your chicken hariyali gravy is ready now
  17. Remove in a bowl
  18. Serve with steamed rice on side or roti naan as u prefer
