ABOUT Dahi - Bada RECIPE

Dahi bada is very famous in north India. During special occasions and festivals dahi bada is very famous snacks.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2 cup urad dal
  2. 4 cup curd
  3. 2 spoon roasted cumin powder
  4. 1 spoon red chilli powder
  5. 1/2 spoon black salt
  6. 1 spoon chat masala
  7. Salt as per taste
  8. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak urad dal in water for 5-6 hrs.
  2. Strain and grind them in mixter grinder.
  3. Now add salt into the dal paste and whisk until fluffy.
  4. Heat oil in a wok.
  5. Put dollops of the dal paste and make bada.
  6. Fry both sides till golden brown colour in midium hot oil.
  7. Dip the fry bada in water for 20 minutes.
  8. Whisk the curd with little salt.
  9. Squeeze the bada and put on serving dish.
  10. Pour whisk curd over the bada.
  11. Sprinkle chaat masala, black salt, red chilli powder and roasted cumin powder .
  12. Dahi bada is ready to serve.
