Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For fritters
  2. Gram flour ½ cup
  3. Salt ¼ spoon
  4. Carom seeds ⅛ spoon
  5. Red chilli powder ⅛ spoon
  6. Water as per requirement
  7. Oil for frying
  8. For kadhi
  9. Buttermilk 1½ cup
  10. Gram flour 2 spoon
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Water as per requirement
  13. Turmeric powder ½ spoon
  14. Oil 2 spoon
  15. Curry leaves 7-8
  16. Asfoetida 1 pinch
  17. Cumin seeds ⅛ spoon
  18. Dry red chilli 1
  19. Bay leaf 1
  20. Chopped green Coriander 1 spoon

Instructions

  1. For fritters mix all ingredients except oil and water
  2. Make a thick batter with water
  3. Heat oil in a wok
  4. Make fritters
  5. Deep fry and take out in a plate
  6. For kadhi mix buttermilk,gram flour, salt and turmeric powder in a bowl
  7. Blend with blender
  8. Keep the consistency watery
  9. Heat oil in a wok
  10. Add asfoetida, Curry leaves,bay leaf,cumin and red chilli
  11. Pour curry batter
  12. Cook for 10 minutes on medium flame
  13. Add fritters and switch off the flame
  14. Garnish with coriander leaves
  15. Serve with rice or chapati
