An easy recipe,can be taken as a side dish or snack with ketchup.

Fish Cutlets

Ingredients to make Fish Cutlets

  • 1 1/4 cup steamed and shredded fish
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tesp minced ginger
  • 1 tesp minced garlic
  • 1 tesp minced green chilli
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • oil to fry the cutlets
  • salt as per taste
  • pepper powder 1 tesp

How to make Fish Cutlets

  1. Whip eggs and keep aside. Add 1 tbsp.oil to a pan place on medium heat
  2. Add onions saute till soft,to this add ginger,garlic ,chilli, salt, coriander leaves saute for 2 minutes, Add this to the shredded fish ,take 1 tbsp of whipped egg and mix well
  3. To the remaining egg add pepper and salt and whisk it
  4. Make patties out of the fish mixture
  5. Place tava on medium flame add a tbsp of oil,dip one patty in egg and place on tava, after a minute slide it to the edge of the tava.
  6. Repeat it with the remaining patties
  7. Turn the cutlet and cook on both sides by gently pressing the cutlet.
  8. Remove serve hot with tomato ketchup.
