ABOUT Punjabi spicy cholle RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 and half cup Kabul chana
  2. Salt
  3. Haldi
  4. Red chilly powder as per your taste
  5. Dhania powder 1 tsp
  6. Cumin 1 tsp
  7. Cumin powder
  8. 2 tea bags
  9. Chills masala 3 tsp
  10. 2 big onions chopped
  11. 4 tomatoes chopped
  12. Ginger GARLIC paste 1 tbsp
  13. Green chillies

Instructions

  1. Wash Chole in morning.put water in cooker about half cooker and put salt,haldi, chilly powder and 2 tea bags.cover & put lid.
  2. Pressure on high for 2 whistles & then cook for 25 min
  3. Take a wide wok.put ghee.
  4. Add jeera. add onions & brown them.
  5. Add ginger GARLIC paste & green chillies .saute
  6. Add tomatoes & add salt, haldi chilly powder. Mix.
  7. Saute till masala leaves oil. add cumin powder. add Chole along with water.
  8. Mix. cook for 20 min stirring in between. add chilly masala & mix. cook for 3 min. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  9. Switch off gas & before serving garnish with butter onions 7 green chillies
