The fish which I used was locally known as bachwa machhli. It has got very less bones and therefore easy for eating. Fish curry goes well with rice and you can add few drops of lemon and dhaniya leaves in the gravy.

For gravy

GRIND MUSTARD SEEDS WITH LITTLE WATER IN A MIXER
ADD GARLIC PIECES
RED CHILLI POWDER
HALDI POWDER
LITTLE PEPPER POWDER
DHANIYA POWDER
LITTLE WATER AND MIX
GRIND AGAIN TO FORM A THICK MASALA PASTE
THE MASALA PASTE IS READY
HEAT OIL, ADD RED CHILLIES, BAY LEAF,
ADD MASALA PASTE TO IT
SAUTE WELL
KEEP ON STIRRING
MASALA WILL START LEAVING OIL
AND IT REDUCES TOO
THE MASALA HAS CHANGED ITS COLOR
COOK FOR ANOTHER 5 MIN
TILL IT TURNS BROWN, SWITCH OFF THE FLAME
TAKE THE FISH PIECES, MARINATE IT WITH HALDI, SALT, RED CHILLIES POWDER.
NOW SHALLOW FRY THEM
THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS AFTER COOKING
AGAIN TAKE THE COOKED MASALA IN A KADHAI, ADD TOMATOES AND SAUTE WELL
ADD SUFFICIENT WATER
MIX WELL, ADD SALT, THE GRAVY SHOULD NOT BE THICK
ADD MORE WATER. ADD FRIED FISH, ALLOW TO BOIL
