ABOUT Spicy Potato Pull-Apart Rolls RECIPE

For this monsoon season,pull apart this spicy potato roll,have it with a cup of hot tea.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. BREAD
  2. 3 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  3. 1 1/2 tesp yeast
  4. 1 egg
  5. 1tesp sugar
  6. 4 tbsp butter
  7. 1 1/2 tesp salt
  8. 1/2 cup milk
  9. POTATO STUFFING
  10. 1 cup mashed potato
  11. 1 medium onion finally chopped
  12. 1 tesp ginger garlic paste
  13. 3 green chilli minced
  14. 1 tesp red chilli powder
  15. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  16. Salt as per taste
  17. 1/4 tesp turmeric powder
  18. 1/4 cup grated cheese
  19. 1 tbsp oil
  20. 1 tesp fennel seeds

Instructions

  1. Add oil in a pan place on medium heat
  2. Add fennel seeds ,let splutter,add the green chilli and ginger garlic paste saute it
  3. Add onions saute till light brown.
  4. Mix in the turmeric,red chilli powder and salt.
  5. Add mashed potatoes and saute till it form a semi dry lump.
  6. Remove cool completely.
  7. In a bowl add yeast,sugar and milk ,let set for 10 minutes.
  8. Add all purpose flour,egg,butter and salt.
  9. Knead for 10 minutes to a soft dough.
  10. Shape the dough round ,brush oil place on a oiled bowl.
  11. Cover it with cling wrap and allow it to double in size.
  12. Punch the dough,place on a floured surface.
  13. Roll to a rectangle shape 1/4 "thick
  14. Spread the stuffing on the dough equally,sprinkle the cheese.
  15. Roll the dough tightly,seal the edges.
  16. Slice it into 1" thick pieces
  17. Place on a lined tray or pan,one beside the other with a slight gap.
  18. Pre heat oven 180℃ for 10 minutes.
  19. Brush rolls with butter and bake at 170℃ for 30 minutes.
  20. Remove ,serve hot.
