ABOUT Mango Sheera RECIPE

Yummy and delicious Halwa made of Mangoes.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Semolina / Rava / Sooji 1 cup
  2. Sugar 1 cup
  3. Mango Pulp / Aam 2 cup
  4. Milk 1 cup
  5. Chopped Mangoes / Aam ¼ cup
  6. Clarified Butter / Desi Ghee 3 tsp
  7. Chopped Almonds / Badam 2 tsp
  8. Chopped Cashews / Kaju 2tsp
  9. Kesar / Saffron for Garnishing as required
  10. Chopped Mangoes for Garnishing as required

Instructions

  1. In a cooking pan, add 3 tsp of Ghee, 1 cup of Semolina (Rava) and roast for 4 to 5 Min on medium flame.
  2. Then add 1 cup of Sugar and mix for 2 to 3 min or until Sugar dissolves.
  3. Then add 2 cup of Mango pulp and stir continuously for 2 Mins.
  4. Furthermore, add 1 cup of Milk, ¼ cup of chopped Mangoes and mix well.
  5. Cover the lid and simmer on medium flame for 3 Mins.
  6. Add 2 tsp of chopped Almonds, chopped Cashews and mix well.
  7. Sheera separates from the pan.
  8. Serve hot, garnish with Kesar and chopped Mangoes.
