ABOUT No Bake Mango mousse Cake with Biscuit Base RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For 1st layer : 1 packet digestive biscuits (or graham crackers)
  2. 3 tbsp melted butter
  3. 2 nd layer : 1 cup whipping cream
  4. 1 cup mango puree (Alphanso)
  5. 5 tbsp powdered sugar
  6. 1 1/2 tsp gelatine
  7. 4 tbsp hot water (to dissolve gelatine)
  8. 3 rd layer : 1/2 cup mango puree &
  9. 1 tsp lemon juice
  10. 1 tsp gelatine
  11. 2 tbsp hot water

Instructions

  1. Take 7 inch spring form pan & grease it well with ghee
  2. Crush biscuits in mixer grinder take out in bowl
  3. Add butter & mix well
  4. Spread the crushed biscuits into the greased spring form pan & press well using small bowl then refrigerate for 30mins
  5. For 2 nd layer : In a bowl add 1 cup whipping cream beat for 1 min with electric beater then add sugar beat until soft peak foam
  6. Add gelatine ( add 1 1/2 tsp gelatine with 4 tbsp boiling hot water dissolve completely) to 1 cup mango puree & mix well
  7. Then mango puree to whipping cream & mix well properly, dont use beater, ur mango mousse is ready
  8. Spread mango mousse over the crushed biscuits - tap well
  9. Cover the pan with cling wrap & refrigerate for 5 hrs
  10. For 3 rd layer : dissolve gelatine in hot water then mix well with mango puree
  11. Heat pan (on slow flame) add mango puree, 4 tbsp sugar pd & dissolve completely add 1 tsp lemon juice to it cook for 1min, off the flame
  12. Let this cool completely in room temperature
  13. Spread this mango glaze over the mango mousse.
  14. Cover the mould & refrigerate for 8 hrs or overnight
  15. Cut them into slices & serve over a dollop of whipped cream or as it is!
  16. Enjoy
