Mutton Fry

Ingredients to make Mutton Fry

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 1 tomato CHOPPED
  • 1 tesp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tesp turmeric powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 3 tesp chilli powder
  • 4 tesp coriander powder
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1 tesp fennel seeds

How to make Mutton Fry

  1. Place a cooker on medium flame.
  2. Add oil,once hot add fennel seeds,let splutter.
  3. Add onion and ginger garlic paste,stir till onions are soft.
  4. Stir in the tomato and saute till half cooked.
  5. Add turmeric powder,chilli powder,salt and coriander powder.
  6. Mix in the coriander leaves and water
  7. Close with lid ,cook for 4 to 5 whistles
  8. When the pressure subsidizes,remove lid ,place on medium flame and deep fry the mutton.
  9. Tastes yummy with sambar or rasam rice.
