ABOUT Garlic butter tawa naan RECIPE

Easy homemade ,soft, puffy, with beautiful brown blisters naan without yeast,

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose Flour 4 cups
  2. Salt 1 teaspoon
  3. Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon
  4. Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Milk 1/2 cup
  6. Oil 3 tablespoons
  7. Curd 3 tablespoons (at room temperature)
  8. Sugar 1 tablespoon
  9. Chopped garlic 1/4 cup
  10. Sesame seeds 1 tablespoon
  11. Butter
  12. Warm water as required

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
  2. In another bowl mix milk, oil ,curd,sugar properly
  3. Make a small well in the centre of the dry mixture.
  4. Now pour the wet mixture in the dry mixture and mix well using your hand or wooden spoon
  5. Knead it and make a soft dough
  6. Add lukewarm water if needed and knead it for about 6-10 minutes
  7. Brush the dough with oil
  8. Now cover it with cling film and keep it in a warm corner for atleast 4 hours
  9. After 4-5 hours the dough become double in volume
  10. Again knead it for a while and make small balls as required
  11. Rest the balls for 10 minutes
  12. Preheat the tawa
  13. Press the dough ball into small disc and sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped garlic on it
  14. Roll out the dough ball into ovel or round shape or your desire shape
  15. Apply little water on top of the naan using your finger
  16. Place the naan on the hot tawa with wet side down on tawa
  17. Cook on medium flame till the naan will puff up
  18. Sticking to tawa from one side ,now flip over the tawa and cook the naan properly directly on the flame from other side ,
  19. Apply butter and sprinkle chopped coriander while serving.
  20. Serve hot
