It is mango flavoured semolina soft cake made in pressure cooker.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup fine semolina/suji
  2. 1 1/2 cup powdered suger
  3. 1 cup fresh malai
  4. 1/2 cup mango puree
  5. 1 cup chopped mango
  6. 8~10 cashew
  7. 2 tea spoon oil
  8. 1 tea spoon maida
  9. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  10. 1/2 tea spoon baking soda
  11. 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl add malai suger and mango puree. Whisk well.
  2. Now add suji and keep mixing.make a fine batter if required add some milk.cover it and let suji soaked for 10 minutes.
  3. On flame preheat pressure cooker add 2 cup of regular salt .Place wire stand and cover the lid without whistle and gassket .
  4. Now take cake tin Greece it with oil dust with maida.remove extra maida.
  5. Now take your batter mix it .It will become dry .Add milk and oil . Mix well.
  6. Add baking powder baking soda and mix .
  7. Pour the batter in cake tin . Tap it . Garnish with mango pieces and cashew.
  8. Place the cake tin in pressure cooker. Cover it and bake for 35 to 40 minutes on slow medium flame.
  9. Check in between. After 40 minutes switch off flame and let it cool down.dmould it . Njoy mango cake.
