ABOUT Shimla Mirch ke Pakore RECIPE

Monsoon Magic Snacks....capsicum pakoras. Though they are not run of the mill pakoras ,can be tried for a change once in a while when it is raining and you have loads of capsicums at home. They are full of nutrients.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Capsicum 2
  2. Gram flour 1 cup
  3. Rice flour 1/2 cup
  4. Ajwain 1/2 tsp
  5. GREEN CHILLI 1 CHOPPED
  6. Ginger grated 1 tsp
  7. Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Amchoor powder1/1 tsp
  9. Salt 1 tsp
  10. oil to fry
  11. Coriander chopped 1 tbsp
  12. 2 pinch baking soda
  13. Chaat masala powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Cut slices of capsicum.
  2. Mix in gram flour, rice flour and add all the ingredients .
  3. Add 1 cup water and make a not so thin batter.Add slices and marinate them for half an hour.
  4. Heat the oil in a wok.Deep fry capsicum slices one or two at a time on high heat till brownish in colour.Take out on a paper napkin.
  5. Serve capsicum pakoda hot and crispy with chutney.
