This is a very old recipe i remember my great gran mom msking for us when we wete kids.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. half cup sooji Rava
  2. one and half cup whole wheat flour
  3. half cup pure ghee
  4. half cup jaggery
  5. A Pinch cardamom powder
  6. sliced nuts of your choice

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1.5 CUPS WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, 1/2 CUP SEMOLINA, ROAST UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN, SET ASIDE
  2. HEAT 1/2 CUP GHEE, ADD A PINCH OF CARDAMOM POWDER
  3. ADD 1/2 CUP JAGGERY
  4. LIGHTLY PRESS DOWN THE JAGGERY, ALLOW IT TO MELT
  5. IT SHOULD GET COMPLETELY DISSOLVED IN THE GHEE LIKE THIS
  6. ADD 2 TBSP FRESH CREAM, MIX WELL
  7. GRADUALLY ADD THE ROASTED FLOUR, MIX
  8. STIR & COOK FOR 5 MINS TILL SMOOTH
  9. SPREAD & FLATTEN THE MIXTURE IN A GHEE- GREASED THALI
  10. SEAL THE EDGES WELL
  11. SPRINKLE A HANDFUL OF PISTACHIO & ALMOND SLIVERS ON TOP
  12. CUT INTO DESIRED SHAPES, STORE IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINNER
  13. TRY IT, IT'S YUM
