About Beans fry Recipe

Beans fry is a quick and easy recipe. It is served as a side dish with rice.

Beans fry

Ingredients to make Beans fry

  • Green baby beans : 50 grams
  • garlic : 2 to 3 cloves (big) chopped into small pieces
  • cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • turmeric 1/2 teaspoon
  • Whole wheat flour (atta): 1 tablespoon
  • oil : 2 tablespoon
  • salt to taste

How to make Beans fry

  1. Wash the green baby beans with water and cut the edges. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add cumin seeds into it.
  2. When it starts to crackle add chopped garlic into it. Fry for few seconds and then add baby beans in it followed by turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt.
  3. Mix everything well and cover it with a lid. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes in low flame and if required sprinkle some water.
  4. Cover and cook until soft and tender. Add wheat flour at the end, mix well and saute for a minute.
  5. Switch of the flame and serve hot with rice.
