ABOUT Mango Flan RECIPE

Its a mouth-watering & melt-in-your-mouth mango flavored custard pudding.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Full fat milk 2 cups
  2. Mango pulp 1 cup
  3. Sugar 4 teaspoon - adjust
  4. Mango essence 5 drops
  5. Roasted almonds 10
  6. Eggs 2
  7. Custard powder 2 teaspoon
  8. Sugar to caramelize 2 tablespoon
  9. Sweet cherry 8-10

Instructions

  1. Caramelize sugar in a heavy pot and pour into custard mold. Keep it aside
  2. Heat milk in a pan. Add sugar and mix well
  3. Dissolve custard powder in 2 tbsp milk and add to milk. Mix well
  4. Stir continuously until milk thickens. Switch off the heat and cool the custard to room temperature
  5. Add mango pulp to custard and mix well
  6. Blend 2 beaten eggs and mango essence with the custard until well combined
  7. Add chopped almonds and mix. Pour the mixture into prepared mold over caramelized sugar
  8. Steam custard for 20 to 25 minutes
  9. Cool flan to room temperature
  10. Refrigerate flan for 3 to 4 hours until set
  11. Decorate with cherries and serve flan chilled.
