Ingredients: 500 gram chicken breast boneless; For Marination; 1 teaspoon lemon juice; 1 tablespoon red chili powder; 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder; 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon; 2 tbsp olive oil; 1/2 teaspoon onion powder; 1 teaspoon salt; 1 tablespoon soy sauce; 1 teaspoon paprika; 2 tbsp chopped cilantro; For platter; 1 small red bell pepper thinly sliced; 1 small yellow bell pepper thinly sliced; 1 onion thinly sliced; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 2 tbsp olive oil

ABOUT Chicken Fajitas RECIPE

The delicious Mexican chicken fajitas is served either wrapped in tortillas or as a side dish with rice

Ingredients Serving: 4

500 gram chicken breast boneless
For Marination
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
For platter
1 small red bell pepper thinly sliced
1 small yellow bell pepper thinly sliced
1 onion thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

In a bowl, add all the ingredients mentioned under marination section and mix well
Clean and thinly slice chicken breasts. Add chicken breasts to mixture. Coat chicken well and refrigerate for 1 hour
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add Onions and saute for 2 minutes
Add bell peppers and salt. Mix well, stir fry until onions are tender
Take the mixture out of the pan. Add 1 tablespoon oil to the same pan
Add the marinated Chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until done
Now add bell pepper mixture to pan. Cook for a minute. Fajitas are ready
Chicken fajitas can be served with tortillas or rice. If using with tortillas, add fajitas at centre, top with sour cream and cheese or salsa. Serve warm
