About Mango Slice Cake Recipe

Easy to bake mango cake slice recipe using simple ingredients but big on taste and texture.

Mango Slice Cake

Ingredients to make Mango Slice Cake

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup mango puree
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 1/4 cup milk or as required
  • 2 drops food colour - optional

How to make Mango Slice Cake

  1. Grease loaf pan and dust with flour. Preheat oven to 180 deg
  2. Sieve flour ,baking powder and baking soda in a bowl and keep it aside .
  3. Blend the mango pulp and milk in another bowl.Keep it aside .
  4. Whisk ghee,curd, food colour and sugar in a bowl until creamy
  5. Now pour mango mixture and mix well.
  6. Now pour wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix with cut and fold method to form smooth soft batter.
  7. Pour the batter into prepared pan . Tap it slightly to even out the mixture.
  8. Bake for 25 -30 minutes until done
  9. Keep aside to cool for 20 minutes. Demould the cake, on the wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Flip and cut it into equal slices and serve.
