About Milk Peda Recipe

This sweet is made of condensed milk and khoya.Generally done during festivals.

Milk Peda

Ingredients to make Milk Peda

  • 200 grams condensed milk.
  • 1.5 cups crushed khoya.
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder.
  • Few strands of saffron soaked in 2 tbsp milk.
  • 3 tbsp Crushed pista to garnish.
  • ghee 11/4 tsp

How to make Milk Peda

  1. Add condensed milk, khoya,ghee and saffron soaked in milk in sauce pan
  2. Cook over low heat stirring continuously
  3. Add cardamom powder. Mix well
  4. Continue stirring till mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
  5. Allow to cool lightly
  6. Grease palms, shape mixture into balls and lightly flatten it. Deflate gently at center with thumb.
  7. Garnish with pista. Serve
