Instant Moong Daal Misal Paav

Ingredients to make Instant Moong Daal Misal Paav

  • 1 cup moong daal (pressure cooked)
  • 3 tbsp + 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 large onions
  • 15 to 20 garlic flakes
  • 1 tspn cumin seeds
  • 1 tspn hing
  • 2.5 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • coriander to Garnish
  • Farsan of your choice
  • Laadi Paav 4
  • lemon
  • salt to taste
  • water 2 cups

How to make Instant Moong Daal Misal Paav

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
  2. Add besan and saute on low flame for 3 to 4 minutes, remove in a dish.
  3. Heat remaining oil in the same pan.
  4. Add cumin seeds, hing and finely chopped onions.
  5. Saute for 5 minutes.
  6. Add garlic paste, chilli powder and garam masala powder.
  7. Saute for another 5 minutes.
  8. Add the pressure cooked moong daal, roasted besan, water and salt.
  9. Let it boil for 5 minutes.
  10. Serve in a bowl. Add coriander, farsan and finely chopped onion.
  11. Serve along with a slice of lemon and paav.
