ABOUT Instant Moong Daal Misal Paav RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup moong daal (pressure cooked)
  2. 3 tbsp + 1 tbsp oil
  3. 3 large onions
  4. 15 to 20 garlic flakes
  5. 1 tspn Cumin seeds
  6. 1 tspn Hing
  7. 2.5 tbsp chilli powder
  8. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  9. Coriander to Garnish
  10. Farsan of your choice
  11. Laadi Paav 4
  12. Lemon
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Water 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
  2. Add besan and saute on low flame for 3 to 4 minutes, remove in a dish.
  3. Heat remaining oil in the same pan.
  4. Add cumin seeds, hing and finely chopped onions.
  5. Saute for 5 minutes.
  6. Add garlic paste, chilli powder and garam masala powder.
  7. Saute for another 5 minutes.
  8. Add the pressure cooked moong daal, roasted besan, water and salt.
  9. Let it boil for 5 minutes.
  10. Serve in a bowl. Add coriander, farsan and finely chopped onion.
  11. Serve along with a slice of lemon and paav.
