Ingredients to make Rava Toast

  • 2 bread slices
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • oil for frying

How to make Rava Toast

  1. in a mixing bowl, add semolina , curd and all chopped veggies.
  2. Add all dry spices with adequate water and mix well to form very thick smooth batter
  3. Rest the batter aside for 15 minutes.
  4. Trim the edges of bread slices
  5. spread batter on 1 side of both Bread slices
  6. Heat the tawa and grease with oil evenly.
  7. Shallow fry bread slices on both sides till crisp and golden brown. Serve hot with sauce
