Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For patti
  2. Maida2 cup
  3. Whole wheat flour 1/2 cup
  4. Carom seed 1 tsp
  5. Ghee 2 tsp
  6. Salt 1 tsp
  7. For stuffing
  8. Boiled potatoes 8
  9. Boiled peas 1/2 cup
  10. Peanuts 1 tbsp
  11. Whole red chilly 8
  12. Green chilly chopped 3
  13. Cumin seed 1 tsp
  14. Coriander seed 1/2 tsp
  15. Saunf 1/2 tsp
  16. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  17. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl ad plain flour, whole wheat flour, salt, carom seed and ghee.
  2. Mix well and knead hard dough.
  3. Keep rest for 20 minutes.
  4. Dry roast 1/2 tsp cumin seed, coriander seed and whole red chilly.
  5. Grind to a fine powder.
  6. Dry roast peanut and grind coarsely.
  7. heat 1 tbspoil in non stick pan. Saute remaining cumin seed.
  8. Saute chopped green chilli and crushed peanut.
  9. Ad saunf, roasted masala, salt and turmeric.
  10. Ad mashed potatoes and mix well.
  11. Add boiled green Peas and cook for 1 minute.
  12. Mix well and Let it cool.
  13. Knead again dough for few seconds.
  14. Take small portion from dough and roll around thin roti.
  15. Cut from the middle and stuff 1 to1.5 tsp stuffing
  16. Fold like samosa, and deep fry in medium hot oil till crisp.
