Honey Chilli Potato

Ingredients to make Honey Chilli Potato

  • 2 big potatoes
  • oil for frying
  • salt according to taste
  • 1 tsp soya sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Green chilli, slit lengthwise
  • 6 to 8 cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 or 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 tbsp Chopped spring onion

How to make Honey Chilli Potato

  1. Cut the potatoes in wedges.
  2. Blanch potatoes in warm water for two to three minutes.
  3. Drain water completely. Spread the potatoes on kitchen towel for 1/2 an hour.
  4. Coat with corn flour and little salt.
  5. Now deep fry the potatoes on a high flame. Keep aside and let the excess oil drain.
  6. Add one tbsp oil followed by garlic, sesame seeds, soya sauce. Add potatoes in it. Add salt, chillies and some honey.
  7. Garnish with spring onions.
  8. Serve immediately otherwise it will become soft.

My Tip:

Serve immediately after cooking.
