A different style of making it, no fail recipe with a soft, spongy and firm texture.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 1/2 cup Maida/Flour
  2. 1 tin Milkmaid
  3. 1/2 cup oil, slightly more
  4. Milk 1/2 cup or more to adjust consistency
  5. 1 tsp baking powder
  6. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  7. Few drops for Vanilla essence

Instructions

  1. Take pan to it add oil and full milkmaid tin. Keep it on gas at low flame cook for 3-4 minutes. Keep on stirring constantly.
  2. Cool it to lukewarm.
  3. Sieve maida, baking powder and soda twice.
  4. Add it to the milkmaid mix followed by vanilla essence. Adjust milk to get a ribbon consistency.
  5. Grease baking tin, dust some maida. Pour the batter in it.
  6. Bake at 200 degree centigrade for 35-40 minutes. Check with a toothpick and then serve warm.
