Pizza is loved by many including my kids and hubby.I am not a Pizza lover but yes I do experiment with different toppings. This fusion pizza is so amazing and yummy that you can’t stop at one. I have made this Pizza at home from the scratch with easily available ingredients .I have used unbleached plain flour with some multi grain powder , pickled potatoes and cheese… Hmm ,enjoy this yummy pizza with a desi touch at the comfort of your home. It can be made within an hour from the start to the end.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups Plain flour / Maida (Unbleached)
  2. 2 1/4 tsp of Baking Powder
  3. 1 tsp Salt
  4. 1 tbsp olive oil
  5. 1 tsp mixed italian herbs
  6. 1 tsp chilli flakes
  7. 15 Baby Potatoes, boiled and peeled
  8. Spicy Chilli Sauce as per taste
  9. 1 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese for generous topping
  10. 1 tbsp Multi grain powder (A mix of quinoa, chia seeds, flax seeds and green gram - All roasted and powdered)
  11. 8 Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  12. 2 Onions chopped length wise
  13. 2 Bell peppers cut lengthwise
  14. 5 Cheese Slices torn into Pieces
  15. 1 tsp Jeera / Cumin
  16. 1 1/2 tsp Aachar Masala/ Pickle masala
  17. 1 tsp Oil for roasting potatoes

Instructions

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan. Add a tsp of oil. Add jeera and aachar masala and saute for few seconds on a low flame. Add the boiled and peeled potatoes and roast on medium flame for about 7 to 8 minutes. Add salt and mix well. Turn off the flame.
  2. After 5 minutes, in a wide bowl, add the flour, baking powder, mixed Italian herbs, multi grain powder, salt, chilli flakes and olive oil and knead the dough.
  3. Gradually add water as required to knead the sticky dough. Cover the dough and allow it to rest for about 10 minutes.
  4. Make small balls of the dough. Roll the dough in any shape you desire. Spread about one and a half tsp of Chilli sauce. Sprinkle some onions and bell pepper.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and 1 cheese slice, torn into pieces. Lastly, add the cherry tomatoes, pickled potatoes and garnish with some more cheese.
  6. Pre-heat the oven at 180 degree centigrade for 10 minutes. Place the Pizza in the preheated oven and bake it for about 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Serve Hot.
