ABOUT Vaishakhi Paratha (Mango Paratha) RECIPE

Very easy to make and perfect for breakfast and also kid's tiffin box.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
  2. 1 tbsp oil
  3. 1/2 cup coriander
  4. 2 Green chilies, chopped
  5. 1 tsp ginger powder
  6. 1/2 cup mango pulp
  7. 1 tsp mango Emulsion (mango essence + food colour)
  8. 1 raw medium Mango, grated
  9. 2 tsp roasted cumin seeds
  10. salt as per taste
  11. water as required
  12. masala curd for serving

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl, mix all the ingredients with enough water to make a soft dough.
  2. Now make medium thick round.
  3. Cook on a tava (griddle) using a little ghee until both sides are golden brown in colour.
  4. Serve with Raitas or Masala curd.
