ABOUT mayonaise sauce RECIPE

Mayonnaise, informally mayo, is a thick cold sauce or dressing usually used in sandwiches and composed salads. It is a stable emulsion of oil, egg yolk, and acid, either vinegar or lemon juice.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2egg yolks
  2. 2 tbsp lukewarm water
  3. 2 tbsp mustard paste(white mustard)
  4. 1 kl vinegar
  5. 40 ml corn oil
  6. White pepper
  7. Salt

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg yolks with a whisk. Add the mustard, water and vinegar to the egg yolks and season with salt and pepper. Put the hand blender on the bottom and mix briefly.
  2. Then pour the corn oil little by little into the mixture and mix into a firm mayonnaise. Do not raise the mixer until a bonded white mayonnaise is formed. Taste and season with pepper and salt if necessary.
