the soft , lacy dosa is the simplest dosa variety, but one of the tastiest and very soft dosa with the aroma of coconut.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Parboiled rice / idli rice 200 gms / 1 cup
  2. Coconut from one shell of of coconut
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Coconut oil for making dosa

Instructions

  1. Wash the rice and soak in water for three hours
  2. Drain the water, add it to the blender with he coconut.
  3. Grind to smooth batter adding water and required salt.
  4. Transfer the grounded batter to a vessel. add more water and bring it to watery consistency . Let it be thinner than regular batter
  5. This dosa batter doesnot need any fermentation. Heat a dosa tawa and grease with few drops of coconut oil. Pour two ladle of batter around the tawa and sprinkle some oil.
  6. This dosa cooks very fastly. In 40 seconds you can flip off the dosa and cook the other side. Serve hot with any chutney or pickle.
