This recipe I learned from my mother who always makes different types of snacks in an innovative way. These sweet coconut samosas tastes yummy as well as looks beautiful to the audience in any homely party. These can be made before any party and can be kept in store for 4-5 days in a air tight container. Let’s start with the recipe which can be easily made at home for any occasion.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1/2 kg of all purpose flour
  2. 1/2 liter oil for deep frying
  3. water 1 cup
  4. 1 fresh coconut grated
  5. 1 cup of roasted almonds and cashews crushed
  6. sugar 1 cup
  7. cardamom powder 1 tablespoon
  8. 2 tablespoon of ghee

Instructions

  1. Heat a kadai with 2 tablespoon of ghee and sauté the coconut with sugar, cardamom powder and crushed almonds and cashews till the sugar melts.
  2. Let it cool down a little then make small ball size
  3. Keep them aside
  4. Now in a mixing bowl take the flour and add 5-6 tablespoon of warm oil and mix well
  5. Add water and make a soft dough. Add more water if required for
  6. Next take a small portion of of it and roll it flat like a Poori. cut the edges and make it square shape
  7. Now fold it taking the corners in the middle
  8. Stuff a laddo in the middle and close it again from the corner
  9. Now turn and open the petal
  10. Now fry them in medium low flame, both the sides till lite golden in colour
  11. Serve them warm or in normal temperature
