ABOUT Mango Yogurt Ombre Popsicles RECIPE

Made these rich, beautiful, creamy and colorful ombré popsicles with organic flowers and due to some issue power went off! :( So I couldn't demould the popsicles as they started to melt. So managed to click pictures as it is. Still they look pretty in the molds and Yes they're damn yummilicious. The following technique is super easy and yields beautiful results. It's already seen. Patience is the key here

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Plain greek yogurt 2 1/2 cups
  2. Mango puree 1 cup
  3. Granulated sugar 1/2 cup
  4. Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  5. Pinch kosher salt
  6. Organic flowers (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  2. Use a baster to apply one small layer of this mixture to the bottom of your popsicle molds.
  3. Tap the bottoms of the molds on your work surface to even out the layers.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Whisk 1 teaspoon of mango puree into the yogurt mixture and then use the baster to apply another layer into your molds.
  6. Tap the bottoms again to even it out. Set it in the fridge for another 30 minutes.
  7. Whisk another teaspoon of mango puree into the yogurt mixture and repeat this process.
  8. Continue adding layers and whisking in teaspoons of the mango puree to make darker and darker layers until you've filled up your molds.
  9. Stick in your popsicle sticks and freeze for about 3 hours, or until frozen all the way through.
  10. Have fun making them !
