Traditional sweet we can make traditional occasion I made it mostly for the pooja purpose. Outside crispy crust and inner side delicious stuffing I used coconut stuffing

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 cup whole wheat flaur
  2. 1/2 cup ghee
  3. 2-3 tbsp bhura(sugar)
  4. 2 cup grated coconut
  5. 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  6. 2tbsp roasted and finally chhoped dry fruits
  7. 1/2 cup jeggery (dissolve in water)
  8. 1 tbsp cardamom powder
  9. 1 bsp feenel
  10. Ghee/oil for deep frying
  11. water as needed


  1. Firstly making daugh
  2. Take a large mixing bowl add wheat flaur melted ghee and mix together now add jeggery dissolved in water and knead a daugh add some water as knead to daugh
  3. Keep daugh aside
  4. #Now making stuffing
  5. Take a pan heat it add grated coconut in simmer flame and keep stir it for 4-5 minutes it will be roasted turn off the flame add cardamom powder roasted dry fruits add bhura and mix it and transfer it on plate
  6. Now grease a surface and dust some dry flaur take a lemon size boll from the daugh and roll it and make puri put on 1 tbsp stuffing in puri and apply some water with finger tips in puri sides and put on another puri and cover it and press it nicely for sticking
  7. U can shape them also with your fingers (as I gave) other wise also use gujiya cutting spoon and give shape (I stick some feenel and poppy seeds on the top layer of pua?)
  8. Now fry it on preheated oil or ghee and serve it hot and cold as u like
