ABOUT Mango Mastani Overload RECIPE

The Best thing about summer is certainly, Mangoes! Absolutely delightful. Mastani is a thick milkshake served with a dollop of vanilla or mango ice cream along with dry fruits as toppings.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Mangoes 2 cups (chopped)
  2. Chilled milk (full-cream) 1 cup
  3. Sugar 2 tbsp or as required
  4. Vanilla ice cream or mango ice cream 2-3 scoops
  5. Ice cubes (optional) 2
  6. For Whipped Cream:
  7. Heavy cream (Rich or Tropolite) 1 cup
  8. Few drops mango essence
  9. FOR GARNISH:
  10. Glazed cherries 2
  11. Tutti Frutti 2 tbsp or as required
  12. Cashew-nuts 2 tbsp (chopped)
  13. Mango cubes, as required
  14. Almond flakes 1 tbsp
  15. Pistachios flakes/powder 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Chill the bowl and the beaters before adding the cream.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the chopped mango and sugar in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the chilled milk and ice cubes and blend until well combined.
  4. Fill the glasses with this thick mango milk shake leaving some space for ice cream.
  5. Refrigerate the glasses.
  6. Now remove the bowl and beaters. Add cream and mango essence to the bowl.
  7. Beat the cream on medium-high speed until it forms soft peaks.
  8. Remove the glasses from the fridge.
  9. Top up the rest of glasses with a dollop of ice cream and pipe some whipped cream on or around it.
  10. Garnish with tutti frutti, chopped cashews, almond flakes, pistachio powder, mango cubes and top it with glazed cherries.
  11. Serve immediately.
