  2. 1 1/2 Tsp Salt
  3. 1 1/4 tbsp sugar
  4. 1 tsp Baking powder
  5. 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp warm milk or as required
  6. 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  7. 2 tbsp olive oil
  8. For stuffing 1/2 cup finely sliced red bell peppers
  9. 1/2 cup finely sliced yellow bell pepper
  10. 1/2 cup finely sliced green bell pepper
  11. 1/2 cup finely sliced onion
  12. 1 cup pizza sauce
  13. 1 tsp Salt
  14. 2 tsp Italian herbs or as required
  15. 2 tsp oregano or as required
  16. 1 tsp chili flakes or as required
  17. Mozzarella cheese as required
  18. Oil to brush

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, sieve the flour, add baking powder, sugar and salt. Mix well. Then add butter and oil and mix together. Now add the milk gradually while kneading the dough. Knead the dough for 4-5 minutes or until it become soft and nice.
  2. Apply oil all over the dough with your fingers.
  3. Cover the dough and keep it aside for an hour. Take another bowl or plate or tray. Add all the sliced vegetables, add salt, oregano, Italian herbs and chilli flakes. Mix well.
  4. Now take the dough, knead it for few seconds. Roll the dough with the rolling pin on the wooden board into a round shaped circle of 1/4 inch thickness.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Now take baking tray and line it with Foil paper / parchment paper. Transfer the rolled dough carefully to the prepared tray.
  6. Now make circle in center of pizza and slits in the center by using pizza cutter as shown. Cut 8 equal triangle (like we cut a pizza) in inner circle.
  7. Apply a generous amount of pizza sauce on all around the outer circle border as shown in picture.
  8. Now top with veggie filling on tomato sauce and garnish with mozzarella cheese as shown in picture.
  9. Take each cut triangle from the inner circle and fold it over the arranged vegetables and tuck the tip of triangle into outer border. Follow and do the same procedure with every triangle to get a sunflower shape.
  10. Brush the dough with oil/ milk/butter. Bake in oven for 25 minutes or until it gets brown in color.
  11. Veggie sunflower pizza is ready to eat. Transfer it into serving plate.
