Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup maida
  2. 1/2 wheat flour
  3. 1/4 cup sooji
  4. 1 tbs ghee
  5. 1 cup warm milk or water
  6. Paste for puri =
  7. 3 tbs ghee
  8. 4 tbs corn flour
  9. For filling =
  10. 3 cup coconut crumb
  11. 1 cup condensed milk
  12. 1/2 cup nuts chopped
  13. 3 tbs raisins
  14. 1 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions

  1. Mix both flour and sooji. Add ghee ,mix well ,add little little warm milk and make a little hard dough and cover with wet clothe for 20 minutes.
  2. Now heat pan and roast coconut on medium for 2 minutes. After add nuts,,cardamom powder,and raisins.
  3. Add condensed milk,mix well and just roast till dryness come.
  4. Cool down for 15 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into four balls
  6. Roll out one ball into a round chapati.
  7. Spread ghee, cornflour paste and cover second chapati on which you spread with paste.
  8. Continue doing this until made four layers.
  9. Now roll out chapati like a Swiss roll.
  10. Cut the roll into small circles.
  11. Take each ball and make a small puri,fill 1 tbs coconut mixture into the middle of puri ,now close side with water.
  12. once a all Puris rolled out,and filled, heat the oil in a kadhai.
  13. Deep fry all Puris on medium flame until light brown colour after cool down.
  14. Serve and enjoy
