Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Milk 1/2 litre
  2. Mangoes 3-4
  3. Condensed milk 1/2 cup
  4. Coarsely powdered nuts 1 /4 cup
  5. Rose Essence 1 tbsp
  6. Crushed cardamom 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. MILK 1/2 LITRE, CONDENSED MILK 1/2 CUP, COARSELY POWDERED NUTS 1/4 CUP
  2. CRUSHED CARDAMOM1/2 TSP, ROSE ESSENCE 1 TBSP, MANGOES 3-4
  3. POUR THE FULL CREAM MILK INTO A PAN AND BOIL
  4. ONCE THE MILK BOILS, STIR AND SIMMER FOR COUPLE OF MINUTES
  5. NOW ADD CONDENSED MILK AND SIMMER UNTIL IT REACHES ONE THIRD OF THE VOLUME
  6. NOW ADD POWDERED NUTS, CRUSHED CARDAMOM AND ROSE WATER
  7. STIRR WELL TO AVOID SCORCHING
  8. ONCE THE MIXTURE BECOMES THICK, SWITCH OFF THE FLAME AND COOL IT
  9. NOW WASH THE RIPE MANGO, CUT THE UPPER PART IN CIRCUKAR MOTION
  10. SLIGHTLY TWIST IT AND OPEN THE PART AND START RUNNING A KNIFE OR SPOON AROUND THE SEED CAREFULLY
  11. SCOOP OUT THE SEED USING SPOON
  12. NOW FILL THE COOLED KULFI MIXTURE IN THE CENTRE
  13. FINALLY CLOSE IT WITH THE UPPER PART WHICH WE CUT AT FIRST AND FREEZE THIS MANGO FOR 8- 12 HOURS
  14. When serving, peel the skin and slice according to your choice and serve with nuts garnished
