ABOUT Prawns Green Curry RECIPE

The curry has a blend of fresh coconut, herbs & spices. The green curry mainly comes from coriander leaves and chilies.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 400 gms prawns
  2. 1 onion
  3. 1/2 coconut
  4. 1 inch ginger
  5. 8 cloves garlic
  6. 1 cup corriander leaves
  7. 4-6 green chillies
  8. 1/4 tsp haldi
  9. 1 tsp corriander seeds
  10. 1/4 tsp rai
  11. 1/4 tsp jeera
  12. 1-2 tbsp vinegar
  13. salt as required


  1. Grind together fresh coconut, small onion, green chillies, ginger & garlic, corriander leaves, little turmeric, corriander seeds & salt.
  2. Heat oil add jeera, rai, curry leaves add the grinded masala. Cook till oil strts seperating.
  3. Add prawns. Cook prawns for 10 minutes & add vinegar. Cook till done & garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  4. Rice Keep 2 tbsp of grinded green masala frm prawns aside. Heat oil add jeera, curry leaves, green masala, turmeric, rice & salt. Serve with fresh coconut chutney
