Homemade Sambar Powder

Ingredients to make Homemade Sambar Powder

  • Red chillies 1/4 kg
  • coriander seeds- 1/2 kg
  • turmeric powder - 50 gm
  • Channa dal - 50 gm
  • Toor dal - 100 gm
  • pepper (black,whole) - 50 gm
  • cumin Seeds - 25 gm
  • fenugreek seeds - 50 gm
  • rice (raw rice) Optional - 1 tbslp

How to make Homemade Sambar Powder

  1. Roast all the ingredients and let it cool.
  2. Grind and store in an air-tight container.
