ABOUT Fig Walnut Biscuits RECIPE

These biscuits are chewy and crunchy,with a lovely combination of walnuts and figs.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 cup all purpose flour.
  2. 4 tbsp finely chopped walnuts.
  3. 4 tbsp finely chopped dry figs.
  4. 8 tbsp castor sugar.
  5. 2 tbsp milk powder.
  6. 2 tbsp soft butter.
  7. 1/2 tesp baking powder.
  8. Water as required to make the dough.

Instructions

  1. Make a soft dough out of the given ingredients.
  2. Cover it with a plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven 180℃ for 10 minutes.
  4. Roll the dough between parchment paper and shape with cookie cutter.
  5. Place on a lined tray.
  6. Bake at 170℃ for 15 to 18 minutes.
  7. Remove let rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Place on a wire rack and let cool completely .
  9. Enjoy the yummy biscuits.
