Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Makhana 2 cup
  2. Onion 1/2
  3. Tomato 1
  4. Ginger 1
  5. Garlic clove 4
  6. Cumin 1/2 spoon
  7. Coriander 1/2 spoon
  8. Garam masala 1 spoon
  9. Salt as per ur taste
  10. Red chilli powder 1/2 spoon
  11. Turmeric 1/2 spoon
  12. Bay leaf 1
  13. Green cardamom 1
  14. Black cardamom 1
  15. Black pepper 4
  16. Cumin 1/2 spoon
  17. Cloves 1
  18. Oil
  19. Cashewnut 10
  20. Kasoori methi

Instructions

  1. Soak a cashewnut in water for 1 hours and on another side roast a makhana to make crispy.
  2. Heat a kadai and put oil in it .when oil is hot, add all whole spices ,onion and saute till light pink.
  3. Add ginger, garlic, tomato paste and all powder spices and salt. Cover and cook for 5 -6 minute till the masala are cooked and the tomato and onion disintegrate.
  4. Then add cashewnut paste till masala leave the oil.
  5. Add water in it and boil it for 5 minute
  6. Then add makhana, kasoori methi and garam masala. Stir well.
  7. Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  8. After 10 minutes makhana soak all the flavour of curry.
  9. Makhana sabzi is ready. Serve with roti or naan.
