ABOUT Raw Banana Cutlet RECIPE

Simple and tasty cutlet. You can have it with chutney or with dahi.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 12 boiled raw bananas
  2. 2 cup boiled chana dal
  3. 1/3 cup grated coconut
  4. 1/4 cup cornflour
  5. 1/4 cup dry roasted peanut powder
  6. 4 chopped green chillies
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Red chilli powder to taste
  9. 1 tea spoon dried curry leaves
  10. 1/3 teaspoon garam masala
  11. 1 teaspoon sambhar masala
  12. 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  13. A Pinch of Black Pepper
  14. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  15. 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
  16. Few drops of lime juice
  17. Coconut oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Peel and grate the boiled raw bananas.
  2. Soak the chana dal in water overnight. Then partially boil and grind it
  3. Now mix the chana dal, grated bananas, peanut powder and grated coconut. Put all the spices and mix well
  4. Make small cutlets of the mixture and coat it with cornflour.
  5. Heat coconut oil in a frying pan. Deep fry the cutlets till golden brown.
  6. Enjoy it with any chutney or with dahi.
