Kerala style fish curry with coconut.
Simply awesome.
Take a kadai, add 4 cups of water n bring to a boil.
Add fish pieces, kokum, green chillies, 1tsp salt and 1/2tsp turmeric powder and let it boil for 6-8mins.
In a mixer grinder grind the items from coconut to asofetida until smooth paste.
Take another kadai. Heat 4tbs oil.
Add mustard seeds and let it crackle. Add the bunch if curry leaves.
Add the shallots and fry until light brown.
Now add the ground paste and fry until oil separates.
Now add the fried masala to boiling fish and cook for 8-10mins.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
SERVING: 6
